Sukkur: Wanted criminal surrenders to Sukkur police
SUKKUR: An outlaw with a bounty worth 300,000 rupees on his head surrendered himself in the office of the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police at Sukkur.
Khamiso Jatoi, a notorious dacoit of Sukkur, capitulated himself to the police, on which occasion DIG Police Sukkur, Dr. Ameer Sheikh said to local journalists that Khamiso was wanted dead or alive in several cases and the government had placed a reward on his head.
The DIG told reporters that he had formed a committee which would scrutinize the cases registered against Khamiso Jatoi, helping him addressing those which were only filed to victimize him.
The DIG also said that he would, on this occasion, conveyed a message through the media to other dacoits that they should also surrender themselves to the police and bid farewell to world of crime. He said that he would make sure that any surrendering criminals would receive full access to justice.
