Karachi: Man gets life term for murder
KARACHI: A man was awarded life sentence on Wednesday after he confessed to killing the owner of a restaurant in Korangi during a robbery in the year 2007.
Shabbir Ahmed was awarded life term for murdering the owner of Pakwan Restaurant, Luqman. He has been also ordered to pay Rs100,000 as compensation to the legal heirs of the deceased and in case of default he would have to undergo an additional six months of imprisonment.
He was also awarded seven years’ imprisonment under robbery charges along with Rs10,000 fine.
