NOWSHERA: The additional sessions judge on Wednesday sent an SHO and sub-inspector to jail after rejecting their bail before arrest plea in a triple murder case.
The SHO of Khazana police station, Charsadda Razi Mohammad, and sub-inspector Sabir were arrested from the court premises after Additional Sessions Judge Mahmudul Hassan Khattak did not confirm their bail plea. Both are co-accused in a triple murder case in which a senior inspector of police and two other persons were killed in May, 2011.
Advocate Mian Rashid Ali Shah appeared in the court on behalf of the affected family. He argued that both the SHO and SI were supporting the ‘killers’, so they should be treated as co-accused and given penalty in accordance with law.
