Karachi: ‘Target killer’ arrested

KARACHI: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Thursday arrested an activist allegedly involved in killing 30 people in targeted incidents.

SSP CID Fayyaz Khan said that a police team raided a house in Kharadar area and arrested Ghulam Patni. One kalashnikov, two TT pistols and three hand grenades were recovered from his possession.



The accused disclosed that he along with his accomplices had killed cricket bookie Junaid and his son in HussainabadPatni also said that he killed several other bookies, six policemen and political workers in different parts of the city. The police claimed that accused was a member of underworld.
