Sadiqabad: Defendant misguides court, booked again
SADIQABAD: A landlord of Chak 92/P of Rahim Yar Khan was booked for misguiding the court by changing judicial documents in order to get pre-arrest bail in a bogus cheque case.
According to case details, Muhammad Arshad borrowed money from one Talib Hussain and give the latter a cheque of a local bank to return the borrowed money.
However, the cheque turned out to be counterfeit. In reaction, the debtor moved the court of an additional district and sessions judge.
In the court, the defendant tried to get pre-arrest bail by removing some words from the judicial documents and also admitted before the court that he had issued a bogus cheque to the plaintiff.
On making hue and cry by the petitioner, fraud in the documents proved against Talib Hussain. Thus, the police registered another fraud case against the accused and started investigation.
