LAHORE: An anti-narcotics judge Muhammad Azher Chaudhary on Friday awarded life imprisonment to a drug pusher namely Muhammad Sharif nominated in a narcotics case.
The court has also imposed a fine of Rs. 200,000 on the convict. The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) had arrested the said convict and seized 24 kilograms of hashish from his possession.
Meanwhile, the same court has awarded six-year jail term to Muhammad Sadiq, as he was proved guilty of possessing five kilograms of hashish.
The court has also imposed a fine of Rs. 10,000 on the convict. In case of default in payment of fine, both convicts will face further jail term.
