Lahore: Prof injured by robbers dies
LAHORE: A 50-year-old professor, who was shot and wounded by robbers on resistance in the Township police area, died in a hospital on Saturday. The victim was identified as Adnan, a resident of Faisal Garden.
The victim along with his wife was walking in a street when three robbers on a motorbike demanded cash and valuables from them. Adnan offered resistance, upon which, one of the robbers opened fire on him.
As a result, Adnan suffered serious injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have removed the body to morgue and registered a case against three unidentified robbers on complaint of the victim’s brother-in-law Riaz Ahmad.
