2 sisters among five killed in Kasur
KASUR: Five people, including two sisters, were killed in separate incidents across the district.
Yousaf, a resident of Bhumba village, told police that three accused, including Qayyum, entered his house and strangled his daughters Rukhsana and Farzana.
He said that a dacoity occurred in the house of Qayyum who wanted to involve his son in the case. He alleged that Qayyum with his accomplices had strangled his two daughters.
The Kot Radha Kishan police have registered a case and started investiagtions. No accused was arrested till the filing of this report. However, locals doubt the statement of Qayyum.
In the second incident, two motorcyclists opened fire at Muhammad Akram of Sadr Dewan Road near Chowk Shaheedan, Kot Murad Khan. He died on the spot. Jahangir, a passer-by, was also injured and taken to Lahore General Hospital in a critical condition.
The B-Division police have registered a case against four accused, including Javed and Shabbir. The incident is said to be an outcome of old enmity.
In the third incident, Yahya and Asif of Kotli Rai Abubakar were standing at a filling station for getting petrol at Meer Muhammad village when three brothers, including Sabir and Amir, opened fire at them over an old enmity. As a result, Yahya died on the spot. Asif sustained serious injuries and was taken to Lahore General Hospital where he died. Raja Jang police are investigating.
