Woman ‘abducted’ in Rawalpindi
RAWALPINDI: A woman passenger went missing from Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Sunday after returning from Saudi Arabia on a Pakistan International Airline’s (PIA) flight, police said.
Samrina married Ismail Khan some seven months ago and recently she went to her parents in Saudi Arabia. She disappeared soon after landing at Islamabad airport.
Her husband was waiting for her at the arrival lounge. Shah Khalid, the uncle of the missing woman, said Samrina was abducted by one of her relatives Nisar Khan who had been waiting in a car at the parking area. She talked to her husband on his cellphone from her abductors’ hideout and informed him that she was with Nisar Khan but later her phone was disconnected.
