Lahore: Would-be suicide bomber captured
LAHORE: Security personnel on Friday carried out a successful raid at a hideout situated at Raiwind Road and arrested a would-be suicide bomber, police sources claimed.
The officials from a sensitive law enforcing agency also recovered a suicide vest and 100-kg explosive material from his possession.
Sources further said that the man has been shifted to some unknown local for further interrogation while his identity has not been revealed yet.
Police sources said that a team of security personnel raided a house and arrested the man, who had arrived in Lahore from Waziristan Agency. According to them, the terrorist was linked to a banned outfit and wanted to carry out suicide bombing in Lahore. Further investigations are underway.
