Islamabad: 26 outlaws arrested, weapons seized
ISLAMABAD: Police on Friday apprehended 26 outlaws from various areas of the city for their alleged involvement in different crime cases and seized 3 pistols, 4 bottles of liquor, 1.5 kg opium and 210 gram hashish from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to police, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Khan seized 1.5 kg opium from an accused Chillat Khan during patrolling while an accused Rizwan Ali was arrested for involvement in a theft case.
Shehzad town police apprehended four dacoits Abrar Shah, Shafique Shah, Nazim Shah, Aamir Shah and recovered looted cash and mobile phones from them while Golra police arrested two thieves Ameen and Faryad besides recovering looted items from their possession.
Sub–Inspector Ashiq Muhammad from Kohsar police arrested Muhammad Touseef and recovered a 30 bore pistol recovered from him. Assistant Sub–Inspector Muhammad Anwar of Margallah police station arrested an accused Amrez Hussain Shah and recovered a liquor bottle from his possession while Assistant Sub-Inspector Muhammad Iqbal of Golra police station recovered a thirty bore pistol from Amanat Ali during patrolling.
Sub–Inspector Zulfiqar Ahmad of CIA police recovered 210 gram hashish from an accused Yasmin. ASI Abdul Ghafoor of Tarnol police station arrested a culprit Ashfaq Khan and recovered one 9mm pistol bullets from him.
SI Muhammad Zameer of Sabzi Mandi police station conducted a raid on a guest house in I-10/1 and arrested 13 for their alleged involvement in immoral activities. Three bottles of liquor were also recovered from their possession.
SSP Muhammad Yousuf Malik has appreciated this performance and directed to intensify vigilance against anti-social elements.
