ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Monday apprehended 16 outlaws from various areas of the city involved in different nature of crime and recovered seven liquor bottles, five kilogram heroin and looted items worth hundred of thousands of rupees from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, Sub-Inspector Shafqat Mehmood from Sabzi Mandi police station nabbed a female drug pusher identified as Musarrat Bibi from IJP road and recovered five kilogram heroin from her. Assistant Sub-Inspector Fiaz Akbar from Kohsar police station arrested an accused Jan Muhammad and recovered looted items worth ten thousand rupees from him.
ASI Muhammad Mumtaz of Shalimar police arrested two culprits Adnan Khan and Abbass involved in theft case and recovered two mobile phones and a camera from them.
On a tip off, police team of Golra police station headed by ASI Mian Imran Javed conducted raid at a flat in sector G-11/2 and arrested 10 persons including four women for their alleged involvement in immoral activities. The nabbed persons were identified as Munawar Hussain, Mehtab Ahmed, Anees, Raja Khurram Shehzad, Umer Ehsan Ullah, Jehangir, Ishrat Pervez, Nabeela Basheer, Hina, Beenish Bibi.
