Lahore: Man killed over litigation
LAHORE: A 40-year-old man was gunned down by his opponents in the Raiwind City police jurisdiction on Monday. The victim was identified as Idrees, a resident of Kanga Karyal.
According to police, the victim was pursuing a case of murder attempt against his neighbours. The accused persons were on interim bail. They were pressurizing and threatening him not to pursue the case against them but the victim refused to do so.
On the day of the incident, the victim was doing work at his farms when five persons came and opened fire on him. As a result, he died on the spot. Police have shifted the body to morgue and registered a case against five accused persons identified as Rafiq, Noor Muhammad, Adil, Ramazan and Sadiq.
