LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ahmed Raza Tahir claimed on Tuesday that four terrorists, who were planning terrorist activities on the eve of Youm-e-Ashure in the provincial metropolis, were arrested by the Lahore Police.
The CCPO said that timely action against terrorists had saved the citizens from unpleasant incident and ensured peace during Youm-e-Ashure. The Elite Force Jawans displayed different exercises which included recovery of a kidnapped person from terrorists, taking an important person to safer place after an attack by terrorists, anti-ambush action and practical display of rolling while under fire. DIG Investigation Ali Amir Malik, DIG Operations Ghulam Mahmood Dogar and other senior police officers were also present.
