Shergarh: Man robbed of cash, gold ornaments
SHERGARH: Dacoits deprived a family of cash and gold ornaments here in Village 28/1 A/L in the limits of Shergarh Police the other night.
Nazar Muhammad, son of Muhammad Esa told the police that he was a poor labourer and had no main gate to his house. He was asleep along with his family when four armed men entered the house. They held them hostage at gunpoint and snatched cash Rs24000 and two tolas of gold ornaments. Meanwhile, he and his family raised alarms when the dacoits were running away from the scene. He caught one of the dacoits with the help of the villagers who was identified as Muhammad Akhtar, son of Abdul Ghafar, r/o Tibi Sada Singh and recovered a 30 bore pistol from him.
Later, the accused also disclosed the identifies his accomplices as Muhammad Yasin s/o Ibrahim r/o Tibi Sada Singh, Asif, r/o Jodhpur and Nazir alias Ladu r/o 28/1 A/L. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
