Bahawalnagar: Police solve triple murder mystery
BAHAWALNAGAR: The Dahranwala Police unfolded the mystery of ‘a triple murder’ here on Thursday when they arrested the accused who is said to be the real brother of the deceased.
According to detail, a farmer Mohammad Javed, a resident of Chak 203/M (Hiran Miner), his wife Mst Rashida Bibi were mysteriously found dead and their two daughters Hira Javed and five-year-old Maham were found in unconscious condition in their house on Tuesday night.
According to neighbours, Javed along his family fell asleep in their house day before Tuesday. After passing 24 hours when no one of the family came to feed cattle, cattle raised severe noises due to hunger which alarmed the neighbours. They entered the house and found Javed died on his cot, Rashida’s dead body was lying in the bathroom and their daughters – Hira and Maham were lying unconscious on the bed. Neighbours reported the matter to Dahranwala Police. The police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies to Civil Hospital Chishtian for autopsy and admitted the girls in the hospital where Hira Javed breathed her last while Maham was referred to Bahawalpur Victoria Hospital in critical condition.
Meanwhile, Adnan, brother-in-law of deceased Javed to the police that Javed had a dispute over tractor ownership with his real brother Hanif. Both brothers had exchanged harsh word few days ago. Following the scuffle, Hanif had nursed a grudge against him and poisoned the entire family on the occurrence night. Resultantly Javed, his wife and daughter Hira lost their lives due to poison. Meanwhile the police booked the accused Hanif and others and launched further investigating.
