KOHAT: The security forces on Thursday killed a militant commander in a clash in Mandakhel village, official sources said. The sources said that a search operation against the militants was launched in Mandakhel and Shadikhel villages after an attack on the security forces.
Two soldiers, whose identity could not be ascertained, were injured in the attack. During the search, a clash took place in which a militant commander Hafiz Noor Muhammad was killed. The security forces also arrested 30 militants during the search. The forces also blew up the hujra of a militant commander Qari Yousaf in Mandakhel village.
