Peshawar: 2 acquitted
PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Thursday set aside conviction of two persons including a juvenile by a subordinate court and acquitted them in a case of narcotics pushing.
A two-member bench comprising Justice Attaullah Khan and Justice Azmatullah Malik accepted appeals field by the two accused persons, Mohammad Shahab and Firdous Khan.
They were arrested in the jurisdiction of Shergarh police station in Mardan on July 13, while traveling in a car. The police alleged that they had recovered 16kg charas concealed in secret cavities of the car.
