Karak: FIR registered against officials in land fraud case
KARAK: The Anti-Corruption Department Karak unit registered a first information report (FIR) against several officials for involvement in changing the names and other facts in school documents of a person to usurp some land.
The FIR was registered against former deputy district officer (education) Mansoor Ahmad Khan, subject specialist Zubair Khan, secretary union council Mithakhel Niamatullah, head teacher of the Government Primary School Kanda Bajikhel Samar Bad Shah, superintendent of Fauji Foundation School Muhammad Ali, former principal Nabeela Nasir and Qabil Rehman son of Habib Rehman for their alleged involvement in changing the name of Muhammad Jasim Abbas’s father and his date of birth to usurp the privileges and land of one Sher Abbas.
The inquiry was conducted on the complaints of Hajra Bibi widow of ex-serviceman Sher Abbas. Hajra Bibi said that her husband’s brother Qabil Rehman, resident of Kanda Bajikhel in Karak, showed his own son Muhammad Jasim Abbas as son of Sher Abbas in school record to declare him his legal heir just to get official perks and lands. She said officials of the Education Department and Fauji Foundation School were also involved in the matter.
