Rawalpindi: 3 brothers awarded death sentence
RAWALPINDI: Additional District and Sessions Judge (Rawalpindi) Amjad Nazir Chaudhry, awarded death sentence to three real brothers on four counts in a murder case.
The court acquitted three other accused by giving them the benefit of the doubt. Four persons were killed on a petty fight between children on September 3, 2010 in the jurisdiction of Airport Police Station.
The court awarded death sentence on four counts to Muhammad Shakil, Muhammad Shabbir and Muhammad Tanvir for killing Said Muhammad, Allah Noor, Manzoor Khan and Naseer Ahmed. The court also imposed fine of Rs100,000 each on them.
The court acquitted Muhammad Amir, Mubashir Ahmed and Muhammad Abid by giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Airport Police Station registered a case under Section 302 against six people Muhammad Shakil, Muhammad Shabbir and Muhammad Tanvir, Muhammad Amir, Mubashir Ahmed and Muhammad Abid on September 3, 2010. According to police, Muhammad Abdullah who lived in Muhallah Noorani registered a case with the Airport Police Station that after fight between the children some people opened fire at FG Boys High School.
