4 including 2 women killed in Balochistan
QUETTA: Three people were shot dead in Quetta on Tuesday while a body was recovered from Loralai district.
According to police, one person Abdullah opened indiscriminate firing on his cousins Nazia and Hanfia, both sisters at Mehmoodabad area of Quetta and fled from the scene after committing the crime. Consequently, both sustained serious wounds and died on the spot.
Police moved the bodies to Civil Hospital Quetta for autopsy and later handed them over to heirs. Motive behind the killing is stated to be domestic dispute. Separately, a person was gunned down at Killi Kamalo in Sariab locality. Police said deceased Dauda Bangulzai was on his way when armed men opened firing on him.
He received serious wounds and succumbed to his injuries. Police said investigation into the incident was underway to unearth real motive behind the killing.
Meanwhile, local administration of Loralai recovered a bullet riddled body of a youth from Torkhezai area, some 7km away from Loralai. Body was shifted to local hospital for autopsy. However, identity of the victim could not be confirmed immediately. On Monday, three people, including a woman, were killed in separate incidents of firing in Balochistan. Three people were also shot dead on last Sunday. The number of target killings is increasing day by day in the province.
