LAHORE: A father of two children was shot dead by robbers in Factory Area police jurisdiction on Wednesday. The deceased, identified as Farid Khan, was a resident of Chungi Amarsadhu.
According to police, two robbers stormed into the house of Farid Khan, made the house inmates hostage at gunpoint and demanded cash. On resistance, the robbers opened fire on Farid Khan. He sustained serious bullet injuries and died on the spot.
After being informed, the police reached the spot but the robbers had escaped from the scene. The body was removed to city morgue for autopsy.
