Balochistan attacks leave 5 dead
QUETTA: Five people were killed and two others injured in incidents of firing in the provincial capital and Tump area of the Turbat district on Sunday, police sources said.
Two gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on Mohammad Aslam and Shahzad Bashir in the Manno Jan road area of Quetta, killing them on the spot.
Aslam and Bashir belonged to Dera Ghazi Khan and had come to Quetta in search of work two days ago.
Police termed the incident an act of target killing.
The bodies were sent to D.G. Khan after an autopsy.
Another man, identified as Anwar Maseeh, was shot dead in Shahzab Town. The cause of the killing remains unclear.
Two people were killed and two others injured when attackers on motorbikes opened fire on them at a hotel in the border town of Tump in Turbat district.
The injured were admitted to a hospital.
