Islamabad: 5 drug pushers arrested
ISLAMABAD: Golra police arrested three drug pushers including two women from various areas and seized 7.2 kilogram hashish and 2.5 kilogram heroin, a police spokesman said on Monday.
According to spokesman, SP (Saddar) Sajid Kayani directed police patrolling teams and those performing duties at police pickets for strict vigilance and checking. Following these directions, strength of policemen was enhanced at various police pickets and Station House Officer of Golra Police Station Qasim Khan Niazi started continuous monitoring of police patrolling teams and pickets functioning in his jurisdiction.
A police team headed by Sub-Inspector Ameer Umar from Golra police arrested a drug pusher Sifatullah from Sadat Colony during checking and seized five kilogram hashish. Similarly, the same team also arrested a female from Golra Railway Station and seized 2.5 kilogram heroin.
