Mardan: Mob storms exam hall, secure release of fake candidates
MARDAN: Hundreds of people stormed an examination hall in the jurisdiction of Jabar Police Station to rescue two fake candidates who were attempting the paper in place of two other students on Monday, police sources said.
Tufail Ahmed told the police that he was performing duty as superintendent at the examination hall in the Regional Institute for Education (Male) where candidates were taking the English Paper (A) of supplementary examination of B.A and BSc.
He said that during checking he caught two persons identified as Ali Khan and Adnan Bacha who were attempting the paper in place of Javed (Roll No 9684) and Abdullah (Roll No 9698). The examiner said he caught both the persons and called the police but in the meantime around 200 people barged into the examination hall and got the two released. The police registered the case under Sections 419, 420, 186,148 and 149 and started its investigation.
