Karachi: Man nominated in bomb blast case bailed out
KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday granted bail to a Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM) worker booked in Jumma Goth blast case on a solvent surety of Rs 200,000 besides ordering his release if no other case was registered.
A division bench, comprising Justice Maqbool Baqir and Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, granted bail to accused Mohammad Mubeen Shar after hearing the arguments of both sides. Shar approached the SHC through his counsel Advocate Aqib Rajper for bail in the case of a bomb blast, which occurred on March 6, 2011 at Jumma Goth, Ibrahim Haydri. Five suspects, including Sadruddin Kolachi, Ismail Kolachi, Mubeen Ahmad Shar, Hameed Shar and Faisal Wagan were nominated in the case. The SHC had two months back, granted bail to two other suspects, including Hameed Shar and Faisal Wagan. It is pertinent to mention here that an activist of JSMM Zulifqar Kolachi was killed in the same blast. Later on, police had arrest the five suspects allegedly while they tried to escape.
