Shergarh: Man charged with stealing Rs0.6m hound
SHERGARH: The police registered a case against four people for stealing a hound reportedly worth Rs0.6million.
Muhammad Akram s/o Yar Muhammad, a resident of Chak 24/D, told the police that he had a hound worth Rs0.6 million which was stolen about eight months ago. He did not approach the police and kept on searching for the pet on his own. Now, he had come to know that the dog was stolen by one Allah Ditta of his village and kept it with his friends at various places. Later, the accused promised to return the dog within eight days but backtracked on his promise the other evening. On his complaint, the police registered a case against Allah Ditta, Asif s/o Muhahamd Rafeeq r/o of Patipur area of Minchanabad, Rana Manzoor Ahmad r/o of Pakpattan and one unidentified person under Section 379 of the PPC.
