Islamabad: Police arrest 24 alleged outlaws
ISLAMABAD: Rawalpindi police on Tuesday arrested 24 outlaws and seized hashish and illegal arms from their possession.
Police have started crackdown against criminals in different areas of city. In this connection Gujar Khan police arrested bootlegger Daood and seized 1,000 bottles of alcohol from his possession.
The police arrested Faisal, Abdul Majeed, Arshad and other accused from jurisdiction of Rawalpindi police station and seized hundreds of bottles of alcohol, hash and a pistol from their possession.
In separate raid Westridge police arrested eight gamblers from a gambling den. Acting on tip-off the Westridge police raided a gambling den in Qasim Abad and arrested eight gamblers and seized stake money. staff report/agencies
