Lakki Marwat: 4 officials booked for illegal recruitment
LAKKI MARWAT: The anti-corruption establishment Lakki Marwat has booked four former officials of Naurang tehsil municipal administration on the charges of making illegal recruitments in the civic body, said an official on Wednesday.
ACE circle officer Noor Aslam Khan found out during the inquiry that TMA Naurang’s former TMO Raufullah Khan in connivance with former tehsil officers finance Asmatullah Khan and Bilqayaz Khan and another official Abdul Jalil illegally appointed Muhammad Fayyaz, Faras Khan, Anwar Khan and Muhammad Bilal against different class four posts through separate orders.
An official told this scribe that the inquiry shows that the recruited employees belonged to Bannu district and they did not have any right to be appointed against the posts of class four employees in other district.
Quoting a notification of Local Council Board, he said that only locals could be recruited against the posts of BPS-1 to BPS-5 in tehsil municipal administration.
“The accused usurped the rights of locals by fraudulently making illegal appointments in the civic body”, he told, saying that the four class four employees received salaries worth over Rs 1.7 million though they did not have the right to get it.
He maintained that a case was registered against the officials under section 420 of PPC and section 5(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act.
