QUETTA: Unidentified armed men gunned down a government official in Jinnah Town area here on Sunday night. Police said that unknown gunmen riding a bike opened fire at an employee of Food department on the Samungali Road, killing him. The assailants managed to escape.
The victim was identified as Ghulam Sarwar Mengal. Police have registered a case. Meanwhile, unknown armed men gunned down a man over an old enmity in Dera Allahyar area of Jaffarabad district. Police said Khan Pathan was on his way to home after closing his shop when armed assailants riding a motorbike opened fire at him and fled from the scene.
