KARACHI: The local police have arrested a money extortionist in Karachi who demanded 10 million rupees’ extortion money from a well-known industrialist, SAMAA reported on Monday.
According to police, the arrested accused Allah Ditta used to call him ‘Angel of Death’ while threatening the industrialist on phone to persuade him for giving extortion money.
The death of angel also threatened the industrialist that he will be blown in bomb blast if demanded extortion money will not be given.
The police added that accused Allah Ditta and his accomplices were threatening constantly for last ten days to the industrialist and his family.
Bahadurabad Police Station traced the accused and arrested him from Malir this day but his two accomplices managed to escape.
After registering a case, the police have launched search operation to trace the escaped fellows of held money extortionist.
