Lahore: 7 sent to jail in SHO’s murder case
LAHORE: ANTI-Terrorism Court Judge M Azeem on Wednesday sent to jail for 14 days seven persons allegedly involved in killing of Hadyara SHO for identification parade. The accused, including Shumaila Bibi, Rukhsana Bibi, Kauser Bibi, Marium Bibi, Aijaz and Asgher Ali, were sent to jail.
According to case, complainant Asadullah had registered a complaint with the police that some people were occupying his land. Hadyara SHO Muhammad Arshad, 50, reached the spot along with his subordinates. Where a mob of alleged land grabbers attacked his party and clubbed him to death. Later, police had registered a murder case under the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATC) against more than three dozen accused.
