Lahore: Boy abducted minor to pay bribe
LAHORE: A youth has confessed to abducting a 4-year-old boy for Rs 500,000 ransom because he needed the money to pay for a job in the City district government. The police said Muhammad Hamza had abducted the son of his neighbour in Garden Town.
Later, he contacted Riaz Ali, the father of the victim, by phone and demanded Rs 500,000 for the safe release of his son. Later, the youth handed over the boy to the management of Data Darbar, saying that the minor is a lost child and he found him from the premises.
Meanwhile, the CIA arrested the youth, who during preliminary investigations confessed his crime.
