2 stolen cars, hash recovered in capital

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Police has arrested seven people, including a woman, and recovered two cars, 1.2 kilogrammes hash and 16 wine bottles from them, a police spokesman said on Thursday. Assistant Sub-Inspector Naeemul Hassan from Margallah Police arrested an alleged car thief Hayat Khan and recovered a stolen car from him.

In another incident, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ghulam Rasool from Industrial Area Police nabbed Waheed Farooq and recovered a car. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Idrees from Tarnol Police nabbed Ali for having 1.2 kilogrammes hash while Assistant Sub-Inspector Umer Hayat from Niolre Police nabbed bootleggers Daud and Khuram Shehzad for having a total of 13 wine bottles.



Assistant Sub-Inspector Nasir Manzoor from Aabpara Police arrested Boota Masih for possessing three wine bottles while Ishrat Bibi was arrested by women police station for stealing Rs 130,000 from Wasim Hider Kiyani.Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
