Islamabad: Hashish, alcohol seized, accused arrested

ISLAMABAD: Federal Police have arrested six outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered four kilogramme hash, heroin, 12 bottles of alcohol and weapons from them, a police spokesman said on Saturday.

 

According to the police, Sub-Inspector Shaukat Ali from Shehzad Town police station arrested a drug pusher Sadiq from Sohan area and recovered two kilogrammes hash from him.

In another incident, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Lateef nabbed Arif Hussain from Makhwal area and recovered two kilogrammes hash from him. On a tip-off, Sub-Inspector Tahir Khan arrested Sajjad Ahmed from sector G-6/2 and recovered 110 grammes heroin from him. ASI Syed Haider Ali from CIA police recovered 12 bottles of alcohol from a car in sector F-6 and arrested Riaz.



Meanwhile, ASI Muhammad Anwar from Marglallah Police impounded a car with fake number plate while Sub-Inspector Muneer Hussain from Shehzad Town police recovered a 30-bore pistol from one Pervez.

Police have registered cases against the accused and further investigation is underway.
