PESHAWAR: It has revealed that the arms made in Peshawar and its surrounding tribal areas are being smuggled to Punjab and Sindh through different routes, Geo News reported.

Tribal areas near Peshawar are the major arms market. The arms prepared in these areas reach the provincial capital through different routes, including Miangano Chowk, Kushan Garh Kalakhel road and Bara routes.

From Peshawar, these arms are smuggled to Punjab and Sindh. The smugglers also use Kohat and Indus highway for arms smuggling.

The smugglers replace the number plate of the vehicle after loading in order to escape easily. The number plates are replaced more than five times on main thoroughfares.
