Rawalpindi: Customer shoots shopkeeper dead
RAWALPINDI: A shopkeeper was gunned down in Westridge for refusing to give grocery to a customer on credit, police said.
The police quoting the statements of eyewitnesses, said that one, Amjad, came to the general store of Shahzad in Qasimabad, Westridge, and asked him to give him grocery on credit but he refused to give anything on credit any more until he clears previous payments. The accused whipped out his pistol and started firing at him causing his death on the spot. The accused, later, managed to escape from the scene.
In another incident, a person identified as Amar Ayub killed his wife in Dhoke Lakhan falling in the jurisdiction of Sadar Bairuni Police Station with the help of his friends Rasheed, Mehboob and Haji Asghar on a domestic issue.
Meanwhile, body of a 9th class student was found lying in jungle in Taxila, police said.
The police said that 15-year-old Mohammad Ali left his house with two friend, Usman and Adnan, to play but he didn’t come back. Ali’s parents informed the police about his missing, the police said adding that on Saturday the police got information that his dead body was lying in the jungle of Taxila. The police suspect that his friends killed him on any dispute.
