Fake currency seized in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Police on Monday seized fake currency and documents, automatic machines and arrested the owner of a factory during a raid in limits of West Cantonment Police Station here.

Speaking at a press conference at west cantonment police station the cantonment circle Superintendent of Police Dr Mian Saeed Ahmed said the factory was located at Donga Gali Street. The owner was identified as Mujeeb-ur-Rehman.



He said some other people were also involved in the crime, who would also be arrested soon. He said fake documents were in the name of different universities and colleges.

A case against the accused has been registered at the police station and efforts were underway to arrest the absconding persons, he said.
