PESHAWAR: A local court on Monday issued release order of two persons on bail allegedly charged in a murder case of a woman and her daughter some four months ago.
Additional District and Sessions Judge, Haq Nawaz Swati, allowed bail petitions of two accused Saifur Rehman and Nawab Khan, residents of Agha Mir Jani Shah, and directed them to furnish two sureties of Rs200,000 each.
The state counsel informed the court that the murders took place on September 10, 2011 in the limits of Agha Mir Jani Shah and the two accused and a woman were charged in the murder of Khan Jana and her daughter Norina.
The petitioners’ lawyer Syed Abdul Fayyaz contended that there was no evidence against the accused persons in the double murder case and also a woman charged in the case had already been released on bail.
