LAHORE: A 30-year-old man was burnt alive by the wife of his elder brother for “honour” in Model Colony Walton Road on Thursday. Factory Area police took the suspect identified as Nadia into custody and booked her in a murder case lodged by the victim’s wife, Razia.
Police inquiries showed that the woman initially said Akram Masih, a father of two, had set himself on fire at her home. The police interrogated her when they found a deep scar in the victim’s head. The woman confessed to killing Akram, saying he had tried to flirt with her.
