CHARSADDA: A man was shot dead by his sons for secretly solemnising second marriage here on Thursday. Riaz and Waqas shot dead their father Nehar Gul when they found that he had a second wife. The incident occurred in Kashmiryan village. Police said that Sheema, the second wife of Nehar Gul, and her sister Iqbal Jehan, also sustained injuries.
After knowing about the matter the two brothers went to the house of Sheema and opened fire at the inmates, including their father, who was staying with his second wife.
Meanwhile, unknown assailants opened fire on two milkmen Mohammad Saeed and Ibrahim at Shabqadar bazaar. As a result Saeed Khan was killed on the spot while Mohammad Ibrahim suffered injuries and was taken to hospital. Both were selling milk at their shop in the bazaar.The Shabqadar police registered FIR against unknown assailants.
In Kaptan Korona, a youth identified as Sahib Jan committed suicide as he shot himself dead after a domestic tangle. Faqir Jan, brother of the deceased, told police that his brother shot himself dead after getting annoyed with his family over some matter.
