RAWALPINDI: Two persons, including an army officer, were robbed of cash and valuables in separate incidents in Lalazar area here on Thursday, police said. Major Khuram Shahzad complained to the Civil Lines police that he was returning home in his car (IDJ-7863) when three motorbike riders intercepted him. The culprits snatched a laptop containing important data, Rs2,000 and a mobile phone and escaped.
Mumtaz Hussain was also robbed of cash and a laptop. Mr Hussain told the police that he was coming home from office when the bandits snatched the computer and Rs29,000 cash from him.
