Rawalpindi: 3 involved in human trafficking arrested
RAWALPINDI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) recovered 350 passports in a raid on a travel agency along Murree Road here on Tuesday and arrested three men, the FIA said. FIA Director Inaam Ghani received information that a travel agency was involved in human trafficking, grabbing millions of rupees from simpleton people, FIA sources said.
They added that the director constituted a team headed by Additional Director Amir Khan, to conduct a raid on the travel agency, Crown International Trade Centre, located along Murree Road, and recovered 350 passports with illegal documents. The FIA team arrested three men, including Sarfaraz, Ahmad Sheraz and a retired colonel whose identity was not disclosed.
