Six quacks’ clinics sealed in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: During a campaign against the quacks launched by District Health Department on Thursday, six clinics were sealed and four others were issued challans.

Executive District Officer (EDO) Health Dr Zafar Iqbal Gondal told Dawn that the provincial government had instructed the district health department to launch action against the quacks who were playing with the health of people.



He said Commissioner Zahid Saeed provided the list of the quacks prepared by Special Branch of Police. He said according to the list, there were more than 700 quacks in the district.
