Bullet-riddled body of BRP leader found near Turbat
QUETTA: A bullet-riddled body of Baloch Republican Party (BRP) leader Sangat Sana was found dumped near Turbat in Kech district on Monday.
According to Levies Force sources, on a tip-off that a body was lying in Murgab area, some 10 kilometer away from Turbat, Levies personnel rushed to the site and moved the body to Turbat district headquarter hospital for autopsy where the victim was identified as Sangat Sana central leader of BRP.
‘The victim was bearing torture marks and bullet wounds on his body’, hospital sources said.
According to Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), an organisation working for the recovery of Baloch missing persons, Sangat Sana was whisked away from Kolpur area in Bolan in 2009. He was also the former Chairman of Baloch Student Organisation (BSO-Azad).
According to VBMP over 400 bodies of missing persons have been recovered over the past two years from different parts of Balochistan.
Meanwhile, BRA and BSO-Azad have strongly condemned the brutal killing of Sangat Sana and announced three-day shutter down across Balochistan and 40-day mourning in the province.
