Karachi: Bandits arrested near Bilal Chowrangi
KARACHI: Bilal Colony police arrested two alleged bandits red-handed near Bilal Chowrangi after a brief encounter. They were identified as Mehtab and Irfan, and they were wanted in street crime cases. Police recovered two pistols, five cellphones and a motorcycle, which was snatched from New Karachi Industrial Area, from their possession.
Meanwhile, after the joint efforts of the CPLC and PS Gulshan-e-Iqbal, two criminals involved in street crimes were arrested from Gulshan-e-Iqbal. According to the CPLC chief Ahmed Chinoy Mohammad Umar registered his report that two street criminals looted him and his family near the Do Talwar on Sunday morning.
After that the CPLC started investigating and informed the PS Darakhshan and PS Boat Basin about the position of the criminals. The CPLC informed SHO Gulshan Dost Mohammad and arrested the culprits after a police encounter near Sohrab Goth.
The CPLC chief said that the accused named Abdur Rehman and Noor Ullah were residents of Machar Colony. The police recovered one pistol, different mobile phones, cash and jewellery from their possession.
