Lahore: Stray twine injures man
LAHORE: A 28-year-old man sustained injuries when a stray twine got entangle around his neck in the Factory Area police jurisdiction on Thursday. The injured man was identified as Sikandar. Police said he was going on his motorcycle in the Walton Road area when suddenly a twine of a stray kite got entangled around his neck. As a result, he fell down on the ground and sustained multiple injuries. He was shifted to the General Hospital by the rescue officials where doctors stated him to be stable.
Meanwhile, locals of the area protested against Factory Area police for not controlling kite-flying in their area despite serious orders of the authorities.
