Taxila: Murder case solved
TAXILA: Wah Cantonment police on Saturday claimed to have solved blind murder of a cabby who was shot dead in Gari Afghanan area a month ago. Addressing a press conference at Wah Cantt police station, Sub Divisional Police Officer DSP Raja Taifour Akhter said that the accused Sarfraz Khan along with Mohammad Liaquat and Aurangzaib Khan hired the cab of Faisal Shujah from Anwar Chowk. As they reached a deserted place near Gari Afgahanan, they shot him dead and fled with his vehicle.
He said the police traced the accused from the victim’s mobile phone, which they had taken with them. He said the accused were residents of Azad Kashmir and shifted here after 2005 earthquake. He said the snatched vehicle had also been recovered from their possession.
