Lahore: Rs3.5m robbery
LAHORE: A gang of 13 dacoits looted cloth worth Rs3.5 million from a godown in Millat Park police limits on Tuesday. Muhammad Nasar told the police that robbers entered his godown by holding watchman at gunpoint. They then tied him up with a piece of rope. He said the outlaws loaded bundles of cloth in a truck and sped away.
In another incident, three robbers barged into the house of Aamir Rashid in Qadri Town in Factory Area police limits and took away Rs250,000 and 13-tola gold ornaments, all worth Rs900,000.
Similarly, three robbers barged in the house of Mohsin in Hanjarwal police limits and looted cash and valuables worth 600,000.
Robbers also plundered cash and valuables worth Rs1.1 million from houses of Arshad in Raiwind, Afzaal in Sabzazar and Abid Javed in Samanabad.
Two robbers entered the office of Zahoor Shah in Chuhng police limits and looted cash and two cell phones at gunpoint while as many robbers looted cash and a cell phone from a general store in Shahdara police limits.
