Islamabad: Capital Police arrest 13 outlaws
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Thursday nabbed 13 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered wine, illegal weapons and stolen items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Thursday. According to details, on the directive of SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yusuf Malik, the police started special search operation and arrested 13 outlaws involved in criminal activities.
On a tip of, ASI Abdul Ghafoor along with a team from Tarnol police conducted a operation and arrested criminals namely Muhammad Mukhtar resident of Muzaffarabad, Muhammad Angeel resident of Azad Kashmir and recovered to pistols from them, while two criminals ran away from the site.
Meanwhile, Sub Inspector Ali Asghar and ASI Iqbal during a search operation arrested three suspects and recovered two pistols, seven rounds and 450–gram marijuana from their possession.
Inspector Muhammad Aslam of Golra Police Station in another operation arrested a suspect Muhammad Ishtiaq and recovered chars from him.
ASI Muhammad Jameel of Kohsar Police Station during a search operation arrested Rashid Masih and recovered two bottles of wine.
Inspector Muhammad Yusuf of Tarnol Police Station arrested a suspect involved theft activities.
Sub Inspector of Nilor Police Station Shah Nazir arrested Yasir Ali and recovered a 30–bore pistol and four rounds.
ASI of Sihala Police Station Ashfaq Ahmed arrested Muhammad Nadeem and recovered a 30–bore pistol.
ASI Manzoor Hussain of Koral Police Station arrested Qamar Mukhtar and recovered a 30–bore pistol and two rounds.
CIA Sub–Inspector Muhammad Azeem arrested Abid Khan and recovered stolen items.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik has appreciated the performance of police and directed all police officials to intensify patrolling and keep vigilant eye on suspected elements.
